Plant Protection Society in Finland
Finnish Plant Protection Society was founded in 1931. The Society aims to promote the research and management of plant diseases, pests and weeds in Finland. The society´s activities is funded by membership fees and publishing revenues.
Finnish Plant Protection Society organizes annually two seminars on current plant protection issues in Finland and occasionally other topical events and excursions . The Society also publishes the Finnish Plant Protection Journal (Kasvinsuojelulehti, published only in Finnish) and other literature related to plant protection and grants scholarships for students and researchers.
